Al-Ameed University received a delegation led by the Assistant President of Al-Mustansiriya University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Fatin Fadhil Al-Qazzaz, and a number of international students accepted for study at Al-Mustansiriya University. This visit falls within the "Study in Iraq" initiative launched by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, aimed at enhancing scientific and cultural exchange between Iraq and Arab and international countries.
The visiting delegation was received by the Assistant President of the University for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Maytham Hameed Al-Qanbar, and the Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Legal Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mushtaq Kareem Abdul Rahim, alongside a number of directors of scientific and administrative departments at the university.
The Director of the Media and Government Communication Department, Asst. Prof. Dr. Jassim Mohsen Al-Sultani, stated in an exclusive declaration to Al-Ameed University Media that this visit comes within the framework of the university's support for the "Study in Iraq" initiative. It embodies its vision to strengthen bonds of academic cooperation with incoming students from various countries. He indicated that the visit program included a field tour covering scientific laboratories, classrooms, and university corridors, to review the educational infrastructure and modern technologies adopted by the university.
Al-Sultani added that the university strives to provide an integrated educational environment that contributes to honing students' skills and supports their academic journey in alignment with global standards in higher education.
Al-Sultani pointed out that the university continues to support ministerial initiatives that enhance Iraq's scientific standing at the regional and international levels, contributing to solidifying its global scientific position.
